Speaking of the story of Cabeza de Vaca, Henry Miller said, "This is one of the few books that should always be in print." We agree. Soon after Southwest landscape artist, Tal Walton, initiated this project by asking Robert Buchert to find a text they could use for a collaborative piece, Rob happened upon some references to this wonderful story. After some searching, he tracked down a copy in the rare book room of a local university, and it was the perfect choice for showcasing their combined talents. Interlinear for Cabeza de Vaca is a remarkably beautiful book—a story to inspire the mind and an exquisite feast for the eyes.
