Utah women's printmaking collaborative book A Show of Hands involved a variety of artists, ranging from BFA and MFA students from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, to faculty from the same institutions as well as professional artists. The goal of the project was to demonstrate the diversity of female artists throughout Utah.


The print exchange was organized by wink, which stands for Women in Ink, and consists of Laurie Mackay, Jean Richardson, and Jennifer Watson. The book was letterpressed by Georgia Buchert and hand-bound by Lili Hall.

A Show of Hands was exhibited in two venues in Utah: first, at the Lee Library’s Atrium Gallery at BYU in Provo from November to December 2006; second, at the Finch Lane Gallery in Salt Lake City during the month of March 2007. SOLD OUT.
